Lady Glenconner’s Photo Albums: The White House, Chelsea

Lady Glenconner reviews some of her old photo albums and shares her memories of The White House, which Colin bought in 1968.

The White House was on Tite Street in Chelsea, London, known for being full of artists, writers, and musicians. Before they bought it, the house had belonged to Whistler. And many other creatives had links to the street too, including Oscar Wilde, Augustus John, John Singer Sargent and John Collier, to name a few.

Watch this video to see the pictures and hear about the incredible history of this part of Chelsea.
